The Burning Bush

Spread the love

The beauty of the burning bush
What a wonder to behold
Untouched in the midst of fire
Engulfed yet not burned, what joy
The bush still holds its form
It’s leaves still glimmer in the midst of the storm
Impurities get turned to chaff
But the bush still stands strong

This is our testimony
We have an abundance in the midst of famine
We stand calm during the storm
We grow in the face of opposition
We flourish when the environment is against us
Our testimony is that we remain a healthy bush
Surrounded by fire and placed in the middle of wilderness
Like the bush, we are not alone, but we are holy ground (1 Cor. 1:30)
The dwelling place of the Lord.
