How hard does it really have to be?
Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
I’ve heard a lot of people say things like “God never said that the minute you become a Christian, things will become easy” or that “it is difficult being a Christian” or how we should “carry our crosses”. Although all these statements seem reasonable and correct, they are all void of the true understanding of what Christ came to do for us and the life that He offers us. Men have adapted the view of “a difficulty life” and are projecting it into the life that Christ came to give. From out text, we see that _His yoke is easy_ and His burden _is_ light. No matter what sort of cross you believe you have been called to “bear”, I can assure you that it is not something that is heavy or burdensome. If anything, the cross of Christ is so light that it makes you float. He doesn’t add to your weight. He took your weight upon Himself and calls you to drop every burden at His feet. Therefore, I can assure you that truly His burden is the lightest thing you can take upon yourself. Simply stop viewing life through our circumstances and start seeing with His eyes. Let Him change the way you see life. Define life always by the _heavenly bliss_ that is all around you. Truly this life is easy. Enjoy it.
#Pray I thank you Jesus for the joy in carrying your cross. I will carry it with happiness and be forever satisfied in you.
