He always wants to lead you by the hand
Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
I remember being a child and having my hand held to cross the road or just to take a walk. It gave a feeling of warmth, love and protection. That is exactly what God wants, he wants to hold our hands to direct and guide us. He wants to lead us on the right path so we do not make mistakes or fall along the way side. To protect us so we do not feel alone and unsafe. Truth be told, we were never meant to do it all alone, to carry all the weight of the world. By world, I mean weight of the family, academics, relationships and life generally. With God we would make the right decisions. Life itself is crazy but with God it is so much easier. God would lift up that weight, just go to him, he never gets tired and it does not matter how big your palms are, his own is way larger. It says in psalm 89:13 “you have a strong arm, your arm is mighty, and your arm is exalted”. Remember he engraved you on the palms of his hands too. Habakkuk 3:4 says “his radiance is like the sunlight, he has rays flashing from his hand, and there is the hiding of his power”. So I guess it’s all about holding on to the hand of God. Even Jon Bellion said it in one of his tracks “…your whole life is in the hand of God”. His arms are constantly outstretched towards us. Grab it!!
#pray – thank you Lord for always being there to help me
