Your eyes are too wobbly, keep them straight
John 6:14 – 15 [KJV]
Jn 6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
Jn 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
Focus is very key in accomplishing purpose. We see Jesus here refusing to take His eyes off the prize; His death for our salvation, and a place of honor at Gods right hand. The people wanted to make him king, and though that was a good thing, it wasn’t in any way linked to the purpose He had, and because it wasn’t He had to let it go. Many of us need to take a cue from this; because it’s good, doesn’t make it right, if it’s not your intended goal. Learn to always keep your eyes on the prize like a soldier. In the end you’ll always receive satisfaction, inner peace, the joy of fulfillment, and you would have made very great impact.
#pray Father, help me to always keep my eyes on the prize and persevere till the end
