1John 5:14 – And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

We all have prayer requests; however are they in line with God’s will? You need a new car? Is that really what God wants for you? The bible talks about the renewal of our mind in Romans 12:2. Our mind can be futile and unproductive and so, needs to be renewed in order to be aligned to God’s perfect will. Asking according to His will could also mean according to what the word says, I mean God doesn’t want to see anyone perish, but flourish and prosper just as Jesus prospers, so obviously asking for a person’s downfall isn’t Gods will. We need to learn to renew or minds with God’s word, so that our will can be inter twined with Gods will, and as we ask according to His will in faith, we are going to see a lot of amazing answers.
