Key Scripture
Luke 17:15 ‘ When one of the lepers saw that he was healed, he came back. He praised God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him.
Verse 17: ‘ And jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Verse 18: ‘ there are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
Verse 19: ‘ And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way thy faith hath made thee whole.

Gratitude is an attribute we must portray in our daily lives. As christians, we must always be grateful to God for his good deeds towards us. Gratitude is an act of humility and it shows that we dont take his benefits for granted.
The bible text of today, is a practical example of Gratitude. The ten lepers were healed but only one came back to show appreciation. God granted the one leper that came back perfect healing. Jesus said unto him ‘ Arise, go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole’. When we give thanks for the things he has done for us, it gives us faith to receive more.
Sometimes, we always ponder on the things that God is yet to do for us, instead of appreciating and thanking him for the things he has already done. Whenever we pray to God we should not have the habit of asking all the time, but we should also take time to appreciate him for the things he has done for us. When praises goes up, blessings comes down.
