You don’t own a court, so don’t be a judge
Rom 14:3-Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Rom 14:13-Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
Luke 6:37-Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
It is easy to judge. It is easy to give a remark about someone who does not think like us even when we do not even have the full details. Remember the story of the adulterous woman, Jesus understood that she did not need condemnation but forgiveness. In some cases we even judge ourselves leading to self-condemnation, but we should never forget that there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. God is the ultimate Judge of everyone and it is not our place to judge others based on our standards. Our attitude towards people should be love, yes, to that house mate, that school mate and that lady by your street. Even if it takes some self-conscious effort, we should really learn not to judge. At one point or the other we have all made mistakes, but these mistakes do not define us and we should not let it.
#pray- Father please give me a greater understanding towards people and the strength not to judge anyone, Amen.
