therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, and a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof;
He is like a man which built a house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
A foundation is important for every building. A strong foundation is better for every structure and if the foundation is faulty, what can the righteous do? This explains the importance of the right back up, It does not really matter what a structure looks like, how beautiful it seems from the outside, if the foundation is weak, it would not last long and not even stand strong. It would be shaky and when the storms of life appears, the strength to carry on is absent. How do we get that strong foundation? Simple, just build your house on the sure foundation. He is the precious stone and the chief corner stone, in him there are no undefeatable storms. He is able to help you stand strong till you get to your ideal destination.
Christ is the solid rock and in him we can be sure of total security. All works were finished when he laid the foundations of the earth. He had and still has a solid plan and he is always willing to be our rock. Let us rest on this strong corner stone and to do this means fully trusting in his ability to provide, lead and protect without doubt. It means fully trusting with the whole of our heart. He is a strong corner stone, let us not forget this. He is strong, mighty and powerful.
Sweet Jesus, thank you for being my strong corner stone, thank you for constantly being my strength and a sure foundation that I can rely on and constantly stand firm in. I know I can count on your support and stay secure. Amen💛💛💛💛💛💛
