What Does God Think of Me?

Key Scripture

Jer 29:11, Eph2:6, Isaiah 55:8, Isaiah 55:9, Luke 24:38

Jer 29:11-For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Eph2:6-And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Isaiah 55:8-For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 55:9-For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts

Luke 24:38-And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? And why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

What do you think of you? Undeserving? Hypocritical? Too fat? Too crazy? Sometimes our crazy thoughts gets the best of us so much so that we forget what God actually thinks of us. If his thoughts are ultimate then it should mean a lot to us. Let his thoughts surpass ours. He created us, that means he knows us properly, he knows who we are meant to be. I mean if I assemble a car, I should know it well enough to know its capabilities. You think you are not enough, but God knows you are more than enough and he sees you for who you truly are and who is that? 1Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”. So when those crazy thoughts arise, what do you do? You remind yourself of the thoughts of God, because who he thinks you are is who you are truly.

His thoughts are of pure and unconditional love and nothing can separate us from that. We are not just mere men of the world but we are sitted in heavenly places with the Father. He has big thoughts; just like him let us also not limit our thinking. We are one with the Father and God is not a “small boy”. The thoughts of ourselves limit us. By Gods provision we are powerful and we are more than conquerors, let that thought sink in deeply, that we should talk like it and act like it and just be it. Just say these words “I am who God says I am. And as he is, so am I”

PRAYER

Dear God help me to see myself the way you see me. Fill me up with the good thoughts you think towards me and when I forget, remind me. Amen
