How To Know God
Key Scripture
Matthew 7:28 – 29
[28] When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, [29] because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
The major difference here is knowledge…the knowledge of God each of them had. While Jesus knew God personally for who God is, the religious teachers were simply acting out a script they had read, whether they believed it or not. It all stems from a place of having the right knowledge of God. Truth is, your knowledge of God would always find a way to express itself, especially in periods of trials and challenges. Those who know their God will stand strong, while those who don’t would be doing all the wrong things expecting results.
