How To Listen To Gods Voice – PreachDigest

One question I get a lot of times, is how do I hear Gods voice. Many people want to hear the voice of God, or want to experience the practical leading of the Holy Spirit as regards everyday life and situations. So that led to the development of this digest, and in it we will be trying to address a major issue as regarding hearing Gods voice.

One of the biggest hindrances I have noticed that makes a lot of people not to hear is the false belief that only a certain kind of people can hear, We all believe we are Gods children, but some people believe that just a certain select few among Gods children can hear Him. But this scripture speaks otherwise, its Jesus saying that Gods sheep can hear His voice when he calls, whether it’s a white sheep a brown sheep, or a mixed colored sheep it can hear His voice…whether it’s the father sheep, or the mother sheep, or the little sheep, they can all hear, the ability is already innate His sheep.

So you, yes you reading this you can hear God, but I believe while all of us can hear, not everyone has learned to listen. Now there may be unique cases were a person not actually attempting to gets to hear God, but those are some rare cases…hearing Gods voice, involves a desire on your part to actually hear, and you would need to consciously listen. While praying, make a habit of listening to Gods inner witness within you, you will hear words just ripple on your inside, God giving you directions. Make a habit of doing this, and the more you do, the more you get to learn how to listen to, and hear God. So pray, listen, and be guided. More would be addressed in subsequent digests, be awesome.
