How To Be Wise
Key Scripture
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Being a hearer of the word primarily means retaining the consciousness of who you are according to the word (that’s how to be wise). Don’t forget who the word says you are. Think on it and it will affect your actions.
Col 4:5Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Spend your time doing things that’ll make you effective. Be wise and grow! Christ is your purpose, to know Him and make Him known. Don’t let anything distract you from your purpose. Be wise! Good news: Christ had been made unto you wisdom. 1 Cor 1:30
PRAYER
I thank you because Christ had been made unto me wisdom and I function in the wisdom of God in every area of my life.
