If God Did it Before He Will do it Again, Here’s Some Proof
Psalm 105:4 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
Psalm 105:5 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced
Deu 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will show thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.
Job 11:13 yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,
Job 11:15 then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear.
Job 11:16 you will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by.
Job 11:17 Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning.
Job 11:18 you will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety
Psalm 42:4 my heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks— it was the sound of a great celebration!
Psalm 42:5 why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again
Present situations can blur our visions of the past, not that we should dwell in the past but we should pick what we need to from it and keep in remembrance situations that can help the future. And just because the present may not be favourable in the way we think it should does not mean that God has erased us from his mind, it might be easy to forget all he has done because of the now, but the truth is, he has us inscribed on the palms of his hands, that is too close to forget, so think on the good works he did before and let that remind you that he is capable. We should remember that God is faithful, he is always faithful. The last part of psalm 42:5 says “I will praise him again”, again? Yes again; because you remember that all things will work out for your good. He has a great plan, he has not forgotten you, so do not forget him amidst the hard times. Remind yourself of all the things he has done in the past and that same power of provision is available and just because things seem crazy does not mean it will be so forever. Psalm 77:11 “I recall all you have done, O LORD; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago”, yes he has done it before and he will do it again.
#pray- Dear Lord, thank you for all you have done, for what you are doing and what you will do, help me to not forget all you have done for me in the past and forgive for the times I got ungrateful, help me to remember that everything is in your hands and you have a plan. Amen
