God is forever faithful

Key Scripture

Psalms 91: 4…”Psalms 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers,  and under his wings shalt thou trust : his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”

From (Vs 1) of this psalm,  you will see that there is a place where God hides His children, it is that place that the psalmist calls the secret of the Lord. He says the Lord has sufficient power to hide His children in that place. The songs are prophetic, talking about God’s redemptive plan( it concerns Christ) Luke 24:44. God hides things and these things are hidden in a place and that’s Christ (Ephesians 3:9-11, 1 Corinthians 2:7, Colossians 1:26, Colossians 3:3, colossians 2:2-3). Now through these scriptures, we see that God did hide things and all these things were hid in Christ. Now we also are hid in Christ as well (colossians 3:3). So psalm 91:1 was talking about us who are hid in Christ, it’s us who will enjoy the faithfulness of God and protection of God to the fullest.

In (Vs 4 ) which is our main focus, we see his promise to keep us safe.  The bible says that ‘his truth shall be thy shield and buckler ‘. The word truth is from the Greek word ‘eneth’ which means faithfulness…. The ability to repeat a performance. This is the type of faithfulness that’s been talked about. The one that can be repeated.

Many times we tend to forget things Christ has delivered us from, and when some happening occurs, we worry and don’t trust. However this is not meant to be, if He could save you then, He can save you now. So what then should be our attitude? Be like the psalmist in Vs 2 and thank God, testify of what He did before and reassure yourself of His faithfulness. Confess His promises towards you, meditate on these promises, draw strength from His word.

If God performed a miracle in your life once, twice or more, it doesn’t stop Him from doing that again. So hold this reality and go through any storm with the confidence that our God is faithful. Yes Daddy is faithful…Gloryyyy, and He never stops being so. For He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Don’t let situations define God, let God define situations for you. You always have victory, why? Because you have all that you need , You have that one person that can stand against the majority, you have God. You are His child, so of course He will surely have your back.

Thank you Daddy for your faithfulness, I know you forever remain faithful. I rest in that truth. I am confident knowing fully well that you are on my side. Thank you Jesus!!! Glory to God.
