Gods Will and Our Healing

Key Scripture

Luke 2:30-32
[30]I have seen your salvation,
[31]which you have prepared for all people.
[32]He is a light to reveal God to the nations,  and he is the glory of your people Israel!”

What does it mean to reveal? It’s a word that means the exposure of a hidden or unknown fact. We see in our key scripture that Jesus came to reveal God to the nations, that is reveal God to us. It shows that ideally, to see God, you should look toward Jesus. This was explained in a previous digest tap here to read it if you haven’t.

Before Christ, Gods true nature wasn’t really known, it was only until Christ came that people could now see God as love, with a perfect example of His love being Jesus’s death.

1 John 4:16 – We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

There, is God’s nature revealed. Jesus revealing God also tells us something, it tells us that while Jesus was on earth living among men, that is God living among men, the things He did were a testament of God’s reaction to men in those same situations, however in this digest, our focus is on healing.

Matthew 8:2-3
[2]Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”
[3]Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

This is just awesome, God is willing and ready to heal us. We see Jesus do it, and it’s a testament to the fact that God wants you healed of sickness, He is very willing to heal.

Acts of the Apostles 10:38 – And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

We see here that it was basically a desire that God had, to see people healed, and this reveals God’s heart to us as well, that He wants to see people healed, that’s why He went about to do it. He wants you healed, sickness was never part of the plan. Walk in healing, and know that God wants and desires you be healed.

Lord I speak healing to my body, and I pray that I’ll be bold to lay hands as heal others .

  1. It’s funny how the word for the past three days or week has been meeting me exactly where it was supposed to. Like the Holy Spirit would bring something to my mind the previous day and I’d see it in the digest explained with scriptures the next day😄
