Can Terrorists Find Christ?

Key Scripture

『 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.  1st Timothy 2:3&4』

Digest

From our key scripture, we see that God wants ALL men to be saved. Salvation is not restricted to a particular group of people. It is not meant only for the Christians neither is it meant for only those who aren’t Christians. Therefore, the gospel which gets men saved is to be preached to every man irrespective of who they are, where they are from or their religious background.

Pauls says in Romans 1 vs 16 :

” I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.”

The gospel is God’s power for the salvation of everyone who comes to believe in what Jesus Christ has done and all that they are by virtue of what He has done. The Jews who were God’s people as well as the Gentiles who were not needed salvation.

Going further in 1st Timothy 2:6 we see that Jesus died for all men:

” who gave himself as a ransom for all men–the testimony given in its proper time.”

And He has commanded us as believers to preach the gospel to all creation (men)

『He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.  Mark16:15』

Christ has committed unto us this ministry of reconciliation (2nd Corinthians 5:18&19). We must not be biased while preaching the gospel, salvation is available for all men irrespective of what they have done or how great we might feel their sins are. Sometimes our feelings get in the way and we think some people, say murderers and terrorists do not deserves redemption. But we see from the scriptures that it is untrue.

So preach the good news to every one you have an opportunity to, tell them of the grace of God in Christ Jesus which is able to save, no matter what they might have done.

#Pray

Thank you Jesus for what you did and what we have in you. We hold sacred what you hold sacred and we take heed to the ministry we have received. Thank you Jesus for we see more men saved.
