It’s really important that believers understand that God is in no way angry with them. Maybe before they became believers, they may have felt that way because they didn’t have the assurance of salvation, but now, every believer can boldly and confidently say that God is not, cannot and will not be angry with them.

Our key scripture highlights a very important prophetic statement that highlights this. Remember how God promised Noah He won’t destroy the world with a flood again, and God hasn’t till date, that’s the same way God has promised never to be angry with anyone in the world today…however, if God isn’t angry with us, what is His reason for not being angry?

Ephesians 2:3-5
[3]All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else
[4]But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,
[5]that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

This scripture explains it. It says by our very nature, we were subject to Gods anger, but because of Christ, we have new life. Christ was our substitute remember, He took our place on the cross, and took God’s anger for our sake. We are free from Gods anger simply because of what Christ has done.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 – For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us

It’s really important you note that God is not angry with you, if anything He is madly in love with you, and He proved it when He came to die on the earth for you. See His love all the time, and share His love all the time as well.

#pray

Thank you Lord for your love, we know you are not angry or hate us, teach us to see your love always.
