In The Days of Our Youth

Key Scripture

Ecclesiastes 12:1 – Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

This advice from King Solomon is most likely one of the greatest advice that could be given to the young ones out there. We live in a time where social media shows us the “high way to pleasure”.

In the course of evangelism, we hear people say things like “I’m not just ready for that Christian thingy, I want to enjoy my life”. Isn’t that funny? The bible tells us that in the presence of the Lord, there’s fullness of joy. Christianity is not a boring walk where you turn to once you’ve retired from the “high life of enjoyment”. Many times the devil has pushed people into wasting their youth and leaves them high and dry. Make no mistake, salvation is still free at any age; it’s free for an eighteen year old boy and still free for an eighty year old man. You may ask, if it’s free at any age, why then should you seek God early in life?

If you’ve ever been to a construction site, then you’ll know structures are not built in a day. The foundation on which you build on is very important. Remember the story of the two men who built houses; one on sand and the other on rock. We know what happened when strong winds blew on the houses. Our youth is the best time to find God and grow with Him. There’s so much about life that we aren’t taught in school or can be taught in school. We need One more powerful than us to guide us through each phase of our lives. He gives us clarity for our future so that when we’re faced with any problem we know we can always turn to Him. It’s the best time because we’re still agile. We can run, jump, trek long miles evangelizing, stay up late studying without the fear of high blood pressure. The list goes on and on. The
parties, drugs, alcohol and those things people do in the name of “a good life” aren’t worth it. They take a toll on our health in the future, but guess what, I’ve never seen anyone destroyed from eating the word and getting intoxicated with the Holy Spirit. So, if you want to get high on anything, why not try GODKA today. God bless.

Dear Lord, please help me nullify distractions and noise all around me that I may see and hear You and gain clarity on life,
